About Us
We’re a volunteer-driven networking organization serving the greater Seattle tech community. We organize a mix of virtual and in-person gatherings — from periodic in-person networking events to recurring virtual meetups built around the interests and identities that matter most to our members: women in tech, working dads, product management, people management and leadership, job seekers, and more. We also host occasional workshops focused on skills and knowledge relevant to where our community is right now.
Our speakers and featured experts come from within the Seattle community itself, because the expertise each of us needs is often already in the room.
And we don't operate in isolation. STF actively partners with other networking groups to extend our collective reach and keep our communities lively and durable. We see this as doing our part to raise the tide that lifts all boats — because when the broader professional ecosystem gets stronger, everyone benefits.
Who We Serve
Seattle Tech Forum is for people who want to get outside their bubble, whether they're the ones who organize the gathering or the ones who show up gratefully when someone else does.
These are professionals with a genuine growth mindset: people who understand that the most useful connections, ideas, and opportunities rarely come from inside their existing circle. They might be introverts. They might not love networking. But they believe it's worth the discomfort — and every now and then, they're reminded that it can actually be fun.
If you've ever walked away from an event thinking “I needed that,” then Seattle Tech Forum is built for you.
Growing Fast, Grounded in Community
Seattle Tech Forum is just getting started, approach two years old — but the community has taken shape quickly. In that time we've hosted more than 100 events: small coffee shop meetups, rooftop happy hours, virtual workshops, and everything in between.
Our guest speakers reflect the breadth of Seattle's professional community — C-suite leaders, founders, executives, coaches, consultants, professors, and everyday practitioners who love sharing what they've learned. They've come from organizations including Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Meta, REI, BECU, Starbucks, Providence, Sound Physicians, Capital Group, Summit Partners, and the University of Washington.
We're proud of how far we've come — and how we’re learning to operate with greater impact.
Meet Our Advisory Board
We’re fortunate to have the support of a robust board of advisors; many of them also serve as event hosts. [This section is under construction - please check back soon!]
